Odin’s Ravens

Huginn and Muninn are their names, which roughly translate to “thought” and “memory/mind”. According to Snorri Sturluson in the Prose Edda, the ravens fly all over the world gathering information for Odin and return in the evening to perch on his shoulders.

In this painting, I’ve depicted Odin’s eye in the ravens’ silhouette. Just the one — his other was plucked out by the god Mimir, a trade for knowledge of the future. The eye floats about a forest of Norway Spruce trees.

Stickers are shipped in a 6x8” flat mailer to avoid arriving bent. All orders are packaged by my assistant or me in my studio. Please allow 1-2 weeks for your order to be created. Once shipped, US orders arrive in 3-5 business days. International orders take 2-4 weeks.
